How to give a great "Scientific" presentation July 14th

Today we had a lecture by Prof. Ralf Greve about how to give a great scientific presentation. Yeah, the idea is to convey your complicated research result and still do not let your listeners to daydream or chair-sleep ( Japanese language has a simple word inemuri, literally chair-sleep) during your presentation and not only that.

As Prof. Greeve has shown on the example of tragic Space Shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986, failure to convey a message behind the tables and numbers (especially for engineers) sometimes may be fatal.

Lecture has gathered a full room of interested students not only from e3 and thanks to presentation skills of Prof. Greeve they didn't do inemuri despite the lecture lasted for the full 90 minutes as a normal class. Ok, some still did lean their heads to the table... but may be sleepless night of watching the final of world cup is stronger than any brilliant presentation, we can only guess.

Thanks SO for finding a great speaker and preparing this event!
