Elucidation of behavior of enteric viruses in a membrane bioreactor
Membrane bioreactor (MBR) is one of the wastewater treatment systems, which combines biological treatment with membrane filtration. It has been shown in previous studies that enteric viruses are not completely removed in the municipal discharge. The objective of this study is to reveal the behavior of enteric viruses in a MBR by the measurement and the modeling of the concentrations of those viruses in a reactor.
