Welcome to Nanoscience & Spin-Optics Group

Nano Science & Spin-Optics Group of The Ultrafast Quantum Optics Laboratory was founded in the Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University in April 2010.
Now we participate actively in optical and material sciences.
Our research is aimed at time-resolved optical study and manipulation of spins in semiconductor nanostructures. At present, we devote ourselves to investigating the dynamical process of an electron spin and nuclear spin ensemble in a single quantum dot.
