28th Sanitary Engineering Symposium was held at Hokkaido University from 8th to 9th November 2018.

Oral presentations were held by Associate Professor Katsura and Assistant Professor Sakata. Poster presentations were held by 4 students.
And all students from our laboratory attended the symposium.

"CO2 freezing warehouse, instant noodle manufacturing factory, LNG base-gas turbine power plant tour meeting" sponsored by JSRAE (Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) on Hokkaido Area on October 25th, 2018 was held.
About 40 people gathered and many students from our laboratory participated.

7 international students who entered from October will join the Nagano laboratory as the new members.

2018 SHASE(the Society of Heating, Air-Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan) Annual Conference was held at the college of DAIDO University (Nagoya, Japan) from 12th to 14th September 2018. Oral presentations were held by 7 students, Associate Professor Katsura and Professor Nagano.

2018 JSRAE Annual Conference was held at the college of engineering, Nihon University (Koriyama, Fukushima, Japan) from 4th to 7th September 2018. Oral presentations were held by 4 students, Guest Associate Professor Tokagawa and Associate Professor Katsura.

A farewell party was held on August 29 (Wednesday) when Ms. Akane Matsumura, a technical assistant of our laboratory, retired at the end of August.

Ms. Chiemi Aoki, who is a joint researcher of our laboratory, retired on June 30.

On June 23rd, we held a laboratory barbecue as a fellowship for Ms. Chiemi Aoki, a joint researcher who will retire in full in June.

On June 5, at KKR Hotel Tokyo, Professor Nagano received the 2017 Demand Side Management Award from the Heat Pump Thermal Storage Center and was awarded the President's Award.
