Master's program diploma award ceremony was held on Sep. 26. Ms. Tazia Rahman attended from our laboratory. Good work for two years.

On September 16, a new product release by Nihon Netsugen Systems was held in Tokyo on Sep. 16. We exhibited the adsorption type heat pump jointly under development as a NEDO project at our laboratory Nihon Netsugen Systems with environmentally-friendly new products such as refrigerator with CO2 or ammonia refrigerant, geothermal heat pump and solar collector.

An annual convention of the Japan Society of Refrigerating and AirConditioning Engineers was held at Kobe University on Sep. 7 to 9. We made 10 presentations from our laboratory.

An annual convention of The Society of Heating, Air-Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan was held at Kagoshima University on Sep. 14 to 16. We made 8 presentations from our laboratory.

Dean/Professor Suk LEE and Assoc. Professor Yujin NAM from College of Engineering, Pusan National University, South Korea were welcomed by Faculty of Engineering. They visited our campus to hold Academic Exchange Signing ceremony on Thursday, August 4th, 2016.

From Faculty of Engineering, Dean Toyoharu NAWA and Prof. Masanori IIBA, Prof. NAGANO, and Assist. Prof. Yoonkyung KANG (Div. of Human Environmental Systems), Prof. Takafumi SUGIYAMA (Div. of Field Engineering for the Environment), and e3 program Coordinator Natalya SHMAKOVA attended this memorable event.

After the brief introduction of Hokkaido University, Faculty of Engineering and e3 program, Assoc.NAM gave us a presentation about Pusan National University which has the longest history among national universities in South Korea.

With this academic exchange agreement, both universities are actively seeking for student exchange collaboration.
