The Seminar of The Society of Heating, Air-Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan Hokkaido Branch "Forefront of geothermal use" was held at Hokkaido University School of Engineering Suzuki Akira memorial hall on Dec.14.
Following the greetings of Professor Nagano, there was a keynote lecture by Professor Katsura and other lecturers outside the university.

Professor. Nagano, Associate. Professor. Katsura and Project. Assist. Professor. Sakata participated NEDO results meeting 2016, presented intermediate results and poster about "Development of natural regenerative thermal energy technology."

Project. Assist. Professor. Sakata and Mr.Junki Hashimoto gave an oral presentation about the potential map at geothermal section of autumn lecture of Japanese Association of Groundwater Hydrogy 2016 (in Nagasaki).

Emeritus Professor at Hokkaido University. Kiyoshi Ochifuji awarded The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon on May, 2016, ceremony of decoration memorial was held on Sep. 30.
