What is "Transportation Intelligence"?
There is a concept of "Business Intelligence".
Business Intelligence is to collect, create, compile and analize data and
information of the company, and to apply for decision making about company’s
business strategy.
Those process and method are also included to Business Intelligence.
Transportation Intelligence is to collect, create, compile and analize
data and information of transportation, and to apply for decision making
about transportation strategy. Also those process and method are included
to Transportation Intelligence.
Our lab.'s research fields are transportation planning and traffic engineering.
ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) is different from Transportation
Intelligence, our lab.'s name. However ITS is one of our research fields.
