Welcome to Chemical Resources Laboratory!
Our laboratory welcomed Professor Hiroyoshi in 2023 and Professor Arima in 2024, and currently has three faculty members: Professor Hiroyoshi, Associate Professor Elaknes, and Assistant Professor Arima.
Why don't you research together in our international laboratory with many international students?

Our research targets and fields are quite wide.
Under Professor Hiroyoshi, we are conducting research on issues related to mineral beneficiation and smelting, such as froth flotation and leaching, using approaches that use experiments and machine learning models.
Under Professor Eraknes, we are conducting research in the fields of CO2 absorption cement using amines, geopolymers used for storing radioactive waste, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
Under Professor Arima, we are mainly researching the environmental remediation of mines, mainly targeting acidic mine wastewater, and the elution and adsorption behavior of heavy metals, etc. released from excavation slag.
