Overview
Under the EIG CONCERT-Japan program between Japan and European countries, a Strategic International Collaborative Research Program (SIOCRP) supported by JST, a new research theme,
"Oceans: Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation," has been launched in 2026, with six projects selected for funding.
This public symposium introduces the research and initiatives of one of these selected projects: EMBRACE
(Electrochemical System Marine-Based Remediation and Advanced CO2 Efficient Removal).
