WELCOME TO APLAS

APLAS was originally established to discuss about issues related to landfill sites. Recently the APLAS Symposium has become one of major international meetings of the Asia-Pacific region for the discussion of waste problem at research and practical level. Therefor the role of APLAS is requested to resolve waste management problem from the view point of global environmental problem .This symposium discuss from social and technical aspects to solve various issues in the fields like 3R strategies, waste management policy and planning, public involvement, waste collection and transportation, recycling technologies, intermediate treatment technologies, landfilling technologies, and hazardous waste management, etc.
