　Prof. Chongrak Polprasert　（Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand)


The COE Special Lecturer is given by Professor Chongrak Polprasert of Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand.

Dr. Polprasert is Professor of Environmental Engineering and Management Field of Study of AIT and an internationally known researcher. He completed the graduate program in Thailand and got PhD in USA. He served as Dean of School of Environment, Resources and Development in AIT from 1996 to 2005 and is now in Japan as a visiting professor of Kyoto University until the end of this year.

His current research interest has focused on sanitation and the application of eco-engineering technologies for pollution control and waste recycling. This time he kindly agreed to give a talk on water pollution control based on his latest study result. We look forward to your active participation in this lecture.
