Prof.Takafumi Sugiyama, a new COE project member awarded the "Best Papers Award"


A new COE project member of the Group for Sustainable Infrastructure, Prof. Takafumi Sugiyama, won the "Best Papers Award of '06' by Japan Concrete Institute [JCI] for his outstanding papers shown below.
The Best Papers Award is given to the author of the most significant resarch papers of the year, which are chosen among numbers of English or Japanese journals published by JCI. The establishment of framework for the environmental design of concrete structures is one of the issues of greatest concerns among the world these days, and the selection committee of JCI recognized Prof.Sugiyama's papers as the best research that disseminate Japan's one of the most state-of-art research activities on this issue.
