We would invite you to come to Sapporo in Japan to participate in the Workshop on NanoScience and NanoOptics.

The Workshop will be scheduled in November 1-3, 2017.

This meeting aims to present and learn about up-to-date technical developments and new physics in the field of nano-science and optics as the optical spin manipulation of electron, hole, and nuclei in semiconductor nanostructures. The meeting also welcomes crystal growth and sample fabrications.

This meeting will also provide scientific and professional networking as well as scientific inspiration discuss to the attendee.

The session will be in Main Meeting Room (1 floor, Room #A1-17), Graduate School of Engineering in Hokkaido University. The meeting is also supported by Hokkaido Branch of The Japan Society of Applied Physics, Division of Applied Physics, and Graduate School of Engineering, Hokkaido University.
Registration fee for oversea attendees will be free.

Scope of the Workshop

The International Workshop on NanoScience and NanoOptics will be held in Sapporo, Japan, from November 1st to 3rd, 2017. This workshop is also held to strengthen the relationship between National Chiao Tung University and Hokkaido University. In the workshop, in-depth discussions on the focused issue will be carried out from the viewpoints of essential physics underlying critical issues of science and optics on nano-scaled materials and physics as well as the critical technological barriers that need to be overcome to improve the performances of the devices.
