About the laboratory

Description

Our research is focused on electrochemical anodizing science and technology. We have been working on the fabrication of unique anodic aluminum oxide by novel electrochemical anodizing. Our recent publications are avalable on the following web:

We can accept the students with a good background in electrochemistry, especially anodizing (anodization) and electrochemical surface finishing techniques.

How to choose a research proposal topic?

Please prepare a proposal on any relevant to the laboratory's research profile topic of your interest.

How the research proposal is evaluated?

We evaluate the student proposal based on a) your background, b) basic knowledge and understanding of anodizing science and technology, and c) strong motivation to lead the research field of anodizing science and technology.

Accepting Research Students

We do not accept Research students. The only exception is students who have secured a scholarship which supports research student period (for example, MEXT via the Embassy nomination, some types of JICA scholarship etc.)
