Division of Urban and Environmental EngineeringUrban and environmental engineering is devoted to the improvement of the human environment to make our activities productive and safe; and make our surroundings aesthetically pleasing. The profession contributed to our life in an urbanized community by planning, design and management of urban area and environment; transportation system; housing and other structures; control system of indoor environment; and supply and waste system of energy and water. Research group within Division of Urban and Environmental Engineering includes: (1) Urban Environmental Planning; (2) Transportation and traffic Systems Engineering; (3) Architectural Planning; (4) Human Environment Engineering; (5) Environment and Sanitary Engineering. Graduate CurriculumGraduate Curriculum Students are required to take at least 30 credits for a Master's degree and 10 more credits for a Doctoral degree. The following subjects are grouped into five courses corresponding to five research groups in the division. Generally, two of the subject groups must be studied for a Master's course and one more subject group is required for a Doctoral course.
